River Ink Printing and Signs Ltd. is your full service printing, sign, and design shop located in Campbell River, B.C. on beautiful Vancouver Island. Our services are extensive- from graphic design, to specialized printed paper products, to illuminated signs, and custom clothing, we are truly your partner for all your marketing, creative, and display needs for any business!

Starting in 1993 under the name R.H. Printing, we had humble beginnings out of a garage with just a single press. It didn't take long to outgrow that space, and the business saw great growth over the next decade and half. In 2017 the business was sold to Chelsea and Mike so that the first owners could retire. In 2019 we expanded operations buy purchasing Epic Design Studio Ltd., which allowed us to expand our operations in to signage, vehicle decals, and custom clothing- allowing us to truly be your one-stop-shop for business, advertising and marketing materials!

Chelsea and Mike!

Locally owned and operated by husband/wife team Mike Chayeski and Chelsea Miller. Chelsea is our Fearless Leader and Mike is our Chief Operations Officer. Mike makes sure everything is running smoothly with production. He leads our installation team and operates all printing equipment. Try not to interrupt him when he’s working!

 

Meet Mark!

Mark started working as a designer on the mainland in 1999 and has been with River Ink Printing and Signs (formerly RH Printing) since 2005. He loves living in Campbell River because the pace is much better than the city and there’s plenty of great mountain biking, kayaking, and other outdoor activities in our backyard. 

Meet Brodie!

 

Brodie has been a Graphic Designer since 2011. Being a illustrator his whole life, he decided to take those skills toward the digital world.
Originally from Moose Jaw, SK - Brodie moved to Campbell River in 2018 with a longing for the coastal lifestyle.
Fortunate to find a job at River Ink, which he has loved ever since!
Getting to be creative and make customers happy is what Brodie strives for. When he’s not working he enjoys to skateboard, skiing, drawing and exploring the island with his girlfriend.

Meet Neil!

 

Neil is our right hand man, He works on the production side of things. Such as book binding, trimming down stationary products, putting together signage and much more. Neil has been in the printing industry for over 40 years! He is also a proud published author, and a stream keeper on Detweiller creek in Campbell River. When he’s not working, he enjoys fishing and exploring new horizons.

Neil Cameron is our oldest employee. Moss grows on his right side. 

Meet Cheryl!

Cheryl has been with River Ink since October 2022. She too thought it was a tattoo shop. Coffee addict and chaos guru, Cheryl utilizes her background in web and graphic design to oversee the promotional goods and custom clothing department. 

Meet Riley!

Riley is a quick-witted serial hobbyist who enjoys adapting to new things and learning how to master them. Approaching one year with River Ink, Riley enjoys the fast paced, ever-changing problem solving that our business offers. Bringing in experience from sales, design, and interpersonal conflict, Riley thrives in finding solutions and creative ways to approach projects. When he’s not at work, Riley can be found chasing after his four kids, playing card games, saying dad puns, or doing creative projects. 

Meet Victoria!

Meet Victoria, our enthusiastic in-house graphic designer, fulfilling her dream of living and working on Vancouver Island after completing her Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design in 2023. Happy to call River Ink her home, she's a warm soul with a passion for music and art, spending her free time jamming to music, hanging with her shih tzu Molly, or playing video games while striving to live her best life 24/7.

Hi! I’m Jessica, Engraver Extraordinaire, I have 7+ years experience engraving all the things. I have a keen eye for detail, I’m also a bit of a perfectionist, and I’m also super crafty so this job is the perfect fit for me.

Meet Atlas!

Hello, I’m Atlas, currently the full-time engraver at River Ink. My passion is in illustrations and animation, so I am normally drawing in my free time. Don’t tell anyone… but I’m actually three raccoons in a trench coat. 

Meet Zara!

Administrative Assistant, Picture Framer, Artist. When she's not at her easel, you can probably find her slaying dragons and casting evil rings into volcanoes. 

Meet John!

John is one of our installers and fabricators. He came to us from across the country and loves living the island life. He takes pride in making sure every detail of each job looks seamless. He loves a good challenge and opportunities to accomplish new and exciting projects. 

Meet Dana!

Dana started working in 1995 at Discovery Specialty Advertising for the original owners and has lasted through two successions. She has been embroidering for 28 years. She loves working in the back (bat cave), on both six-head embroidery machines. You won’t see her up front, but she is the one making your clothing look great!
